Macomb Daily – CARE to open recovery community center in Fraser this summer

There’s good news on the horizon for those battling opioid addiction in Macomb County.

CARE of Southeastern Michigan will be opening its first recovery care community center.

“This is an enormous step for the community and our entire organization,” said Monique Stanton, president and CEO of CARE, in a news release. “It is something we have been building toward for more than three years. When it opens this summer, Recovery United will be a model for how to treat addiction recovery not just in Michigan, but for the entire country.”
