Volunteer Opportunities |
| In addition to CARE’s skilled staff, the organization has
many volunteers and donors who are committed to its mission to help
people find real solutions for real life challenges. For information on volunteer
opportunities contact the

- Facilitating Parenting Classes. CARE’s Parenting Programs
use the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting model.
Classes are facilitated by parents who have experienced the
class and believe in the philosophy of the program. A
training and orientation are required.

- Facilitate Programs for Young Children. CARE offers an eight part series for preschoolers and kindergartners. The Paper People provides lessons on safety and self worth. Classes are facilitated by caring and skilled adults who are committed to giving children a healthy start.

- Office help. Staple, fold and file. Cut, paste and answer
telephones. Office help is always needed to make programs
run smoothly. Volunteers who come into the office on a
weekly or monthly bases are crucial to our programs' success.

- Project Focus is a school based and summer day camp program
that provides education and support to children who have
been negatively impacted by the adult use of alcohol and/or
other drugs. A training and orientation is required of
volunteers.

Join the Friends of CARE
- Assist with fundraising. Many hands are needed to hold
annual fundraising events and help is always needed and
