Who we are |
|
CARE of Southeastern Michigan is an agency that promotes the empowerment
of individuals and families through relationships with schools,
businesses, public services and other community based organizations.
Solution-focused programs and activities are designed to strengthen
individuals in their role as employees, students and as family members. CARE's
skilled and credentialed staff works with community members to prevent
and respond to real life issues including the misuse of alcohol, tobacco
and other drugs. |

Who we serve |

CARE's client population includes adults, students,
employees and employers, parents, people with disabilities, foster
children and their parents, and those experiencing problems with the
law.
To serve these populations, CARE has collaborative
relationships or contracts with public agencies and businesses that know
our services will benefit their clients. |

CARE's WorkLife Solutions provides proactive tools
for employers and employees that ensure a productive work/life
balance by addressing issues that impact both personal and
organizational development. |

How we are funded |
|
Sixty percent (60%) of CARE's funding comes from the
Macomb County Community Mental Health Office of Substance Abuse
www.mcosa.net. Additional
funding is provided through fundraising efforts and contracts with
schools, businesses, municipalities and other public agencies. |

an active role in providing the organization's financial stability and
developing policy. |
